Privacy Policy — Pin Rush
1. About this policy
This policy describes how Pin Rush handles data.
The full app title is Pin Rush: Infinite Bowling.
Robert Baldwin operates the app.
This page is the current public privacy policy.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy covers people who use the Android app Pin Rush.
It applies in all countries where the app is available.
3. What the app does
Pin Rush is a free casual arcade bowling game.
The ball moves forward on its own.
You steer left and right.
You can watch interstitial ads after some runs.
You can buy a one-time Remove Ads purchase. It removes interstitial ads from Pin Rush and unlocks the Patron cosmetic bowling ball (same performance as other balls).
Pin Rush includes an optional All-Time top 25 distance Hall of Fame.
You do not need an account to play.
4. Summary of data practices
- The app keeps gameplay and settings data on your device.
- Android may include this local progress in encrypted system-managed backup or device transfer when you enable Google backup.
- After each online run, the app may send a random player ID and your run distance to check Hall of Fame qualification.
- The 25 current Hall of Fame entries are stored online and shown publicly (display name and distance).
- Separate player ID, IP address, and timestamp records may be kept for a short period to enforce submit rate limits. These abuse-prevention records are not public leaderboard entries.
- Do not use your real name on the public board if you do not want it shown to others.
- Google AdMob may collect and share ad-related data to show ads.
- Google Play Billing handles Remove Ads purchases.
- We do not run a separate first-party analytics or crash service in the current app build.
5. Data on the device
The app stores data in local app storage on your device.
This local data can include:
- your best distance score
- music, sound, vibration, units, and language settings
- your selected cosmetic ball
- a first-run tip flag
- the last locally verified Remove Ads entitlement state
- ad timing counters used only on the device
- a random player ID for the Hall of Fame
- your saved Hall of Fame display name, if you entered one
Most settings and your local best stay in app-private storage. Android may copy the progress save to Google’s system-managed backup or device-transfer service when backup is enabled. This can restore your best distance, settings, selected ball, random Hall of Fame player ID, and saved display name after reinstall or device migration.
The local Remove Ads cache is excluded from that progress backup. Google Play Billing checks the purchase separately and is authoritative.
Android backup is best effort. It needs the same app package and signing identity, your Google backup account, an available snapshot, and restore during installation. It is not a live cloud save and does not merge progress across devices. An older snapshot can restore older progress.
When you are online and the Hall of Fame is enabled, the app may send your player ID and run distance after each run to check qualification.
The app sends your display name only when you provide it (for example when a run qualifies).
Uninstall or clear storage removes the current copy from that device. An existing Android-managed backup can remain under Google’s backup retention and deletion controls and may restore during a later installation. You can manage or delete device backups through your Google/Android backup settings.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Pin Rush can show full-screen interstitial ads through Google AdMob.
Google and its advertising partners may collect and use data such as:
- Advertising ID and other device or app identifiers
- IP address (this can support approximate location)
- app interaction data related to ads
- diagnostic data about ad and SDK performance
Google may use this data for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.
See Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can review Google ad settings here: https://adssettings.google.com/
Personalized ads can depend on your region, your device settings, and Google tools.
Where law requires consent for certain ad processing, Google or system tools may collect that consent.
On Android, Pin Rush may show Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent message where required. Settings may also offer Ad choices to review or change ad personalization preferences when applicable.
7. Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Remove Ads is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play.
Google Play processes payment data.
We do not receive your full payment card numbers.
We receive purchase or entitlement state so the app can remove ads and restore the purchase.
8. Online Hall of Fame
Pin Rush includes a live All-Time top 25 distance Hall of Fame.
How it works:
- Only the current 25 leaderboard entries are shown publicly.
- You do not need an account to play or view the board.
- Offline play still works. The board and submit need Internet.
- After each online run, the app sends your random player ID and run distance to check qualification.
- If your run qualifies, you may enter a short display name (3–12 characters).
- The public board shows rank, display name, and distance only.
- Your player ID is not shown on the public board.
- Display names on the board are public. Anyone who opens the board can see them. Do not use your real name if you do not want it shown.
- Your display name is set when you first enter the board. Later runs can improve your distance on the board, but they do not change your display name on the server.
- Submit traffic may use your player ID, IP address, and a timestamp for abuse prevention and rate limits.
- These short-lived rate-limit records are separate from the 25 public leaderboard entries and are not shown on the board.
Cloudflare (Workers and D1 database) hosts this service for us.
9. Permissions
Pin Rush is designed to use:
- Internet access for ads, purchases, and the Hall of Fame
- Vibration for optional haptic feedback
Pin Rush does not ask for contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location for its own game features.
10. How we use data
We use data to:
- run the game and remember settings and best score
- show ads unless you own Remove Ads
- process and restore the Remove Ads purchase
- operate the Hall of Fame (check qualification, show the board, store 25 public entries)
- prevent abuse and apply rate limits on Hall of Fame submits
- respond to your contact requests
- meet legal duties when required
11. How we share data
We share data as follows:
- with Google for AdMob ads
- with Google for Play Billing purchases
- with Cloudflare to operate the Hall of Fame (player ID, distance, and display name when provided)
- on the public Hall of Fame board (display name and distance for the 25 current entries only)
- with authorities when law requires it
We use service providers only as needed to run the service.
We do not sell personal data for money.
12. Sale of data and ad-related sharing
We do not sell personal data for money.
Showing your Hall of Fame display name and distance on the public top-25 board is not a sale of data.
Advertising may involve sharing of identifiers and related data with Google for ads.
In some U.S. states, that ad activity can count as a “share” or targeted advertising under local law.
You can use device ad settings and Google ad settings to limit personalized ads where those controls exist.
13. International transfers
Google may process ad and purchase data outside your country.
Cloudflare may process Hall of Fame data outside your country.
Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
14. Retention
- The current device copy stays until you clear storage or uninstall. Android-managed backup copies follow Google’s backup retention and deletion controls.
- Ad-related data follows Google’s retention practices.
- Hall of Fame top-25 entries stay while listed or until we remove them after a valid request.
- Non-public player ID/IP rate-limit records are retained only for a short abuse-prevention window and then deleted.
15. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect data.
Network features and SDKs use encrypted transport where the provider supports it (for example TLS).
No method is perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Children
Pin Rush is a general-audience casual game.
It is not directed to children under 13.
It is not enrolled as a Kids Category or Designed for Families product.
A parental gate appears before Remove Ads purchase or restore as purchase hygiene.
Parents or guardians may contact us at pinrush12@gmail.com about a child’s data.
You may ask us to remove a child’s Hall of Fame display name from the public board.
17. Rights and choices
Depending on your country or state, you may have rights to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- ask for correction
- ask for deletion
- object to or limit certain processing where law allows
You can also:
- buy Remove Ads to stop interstitial ads from Pin Rush and unlock the Patron cosmetic ball
- use Google ad settings and Android advertising ID controls
- uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove the current device copy
- manage or delete Android device backups through your Google/Android backup settings
- choose not to enter a Hall of Fame display name (you can still play)
Hall of Fame display names on the board are not changed by later runs. To change or remove a board entry, email us.
To make a request, email pinrush12@gmail.com.
Include the app name and a clear description of your request.
For Hall of Fame requests, include your display name and approximate distance. Include your player ID if you know it.
We may need enough detail to find any online record.
18. No account / how to delete data
Pin Rush does not require an account.
To delete the current device copy: uninstall the app, or clear the app’s storage in Android settings.
If Android backup is enabled, an existing system-managed backup can remain after the current copy is deleted. Use your Google/Android backup settings to manage or delete device backups. Pin Rush does not receive or control those encrypted backup copies.
To request removal of a Hall of Fame board entry: email pinrush12@gmail.com with your display name, approximate distance, and player ID if you know it. There is no in-app delete button for the online board.
Google controls deletion for data that only Google holds for ads or payments. Use Google’s tools and policies for those requests when needed.
19. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these bases as applicable:
- Contract / service: to provide the game and process purchases you request
- Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the app and the optional Hall of Fame in ways you can expect, where that basis applies
- Consent: for certain advertising or identifier uses where consent is required
Consent, where required, may come through Google tools, system settings, or regional messaging.
20. Third-party services
Pin Rush uses:
- Google AdMob for interstitial ads
- Google Play Billing for Remove Ads
- Cloudflare (Workers and D1) for the Hall of Fame
We do not control Google’s or Cloudflare’s independent processing.
